Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, the Iranian mother of two who has been convicted to death by stoning by a court in Iran, was subjected to a mock execution. Iranian authorities so far haven't killed her because of international pressure. To me, this shows that the current government of Iran are barbarians.In the mean time, Carla Bruni, the wife of French president Sarkozy, has become an Al Quaeda target. France has made burqas illegal in public. Also, Bruni has stepped up for Ashtiani.
