new electronics component may change computing entirely

There is an interesting article in New Scientist about a new electronics component that has been invented, and intresting analogies with live organisms. The component had been predicted by Leon Chua based on a theory of electronics he set up, but only recently it was created in an experiment. The component can only work on a nano scale. If it works, it can store a multitude of bits in one tiny component. Cool!
