You can move the desktop icons on your Android phone by tapping the icon and holding it for a second. Soon as it vibrates briefly, you can drag it to another location. Push it to the edge to move it to another desktop. While you move it, the arrow on the apps slider button has changed to a trash can. Drag the icon to the trash to remove it from the desktop.
