Android dev camp

Next Thursday I'll have a 15 minute speaking opportunity at Android dev camp in Amsterdam. I'll talk about three apps I have developed:
- Twitli, a light weight Twitter client
- a mail client
- a location app that lets you share location info via soap web services on a server. I hope I can publish this app later this month, if I can find the time between various contracting projects I am doing.
I started programming for Android because I think that Android phones will acquire a very significant market share in the next 18 months. Huawei has already announced their Android phones for Q3 of 2009. Other manufacturers will follow.
Android contains an almost complete java environment, much better than J2ME which has limitations or Iphone - for which you use Objective C - because for Java, a lot of open source api's make life easy for developers.
